Gurmeet Ram Rahim has been given 20 years of Jail but he is getting uneasy and restless even though it’s been just two weeks. There were reports last week that he is not eating much and is living on little meals and milk.
Now as the second week came to an end, he is giving even more signs to worry. After the jail authorities on Saturday called a team of doctors which also included a psychiatrist to conduct a health check-up of Gurmeet, he reported uneasiness and restlessness.
As per India Today report, Gurmeet Ram Rahim is believed to have told the doctors that the health issues are a physical manifestation of some withdrawal symptoms he is suffering from.
A doctor who was a part of the health check up team said-
“The baba is, in fact, a sex addict. He has no access to physical pleasures in the jail which is the cause for his restlessness. He can be treated. However, if the treatment is delayed, it can lead to a bigger problem.”
As per some reports, Gurmeet used to drink alcohol till 1988. A former Dera member, Gurdas Singh Toor said-
“He may not be drinking liquor now, but he regularly consumed energy drinks and sex tonics that were specially imported from Australia and other countries.”
