The value to money of iPhone has been debatable for many years but that hasn’t discouraged its fans to look forward to the upgrade.
However, what happened recently will surely make you think twice before burning a hole in your pocket to buy the new iPhone.
Like many fans, A Taiwanese lady bought a brand new iPhone Plus recently. Of course, she would be dying with happiness and excitement but it didn’t last long.
Just after 5 days of buying the phone, it started splitting upon charging.

According to local media, she said that the split occurred due to the swollen battery soon after she put it on charge. She was reportedly using the correct Apple supplied charger cable and adaptor at the time of the incident. The phone was the 64 GB Gold variant and Reportedly, Apple is currently examining it.
Apparently the iPhone 8 Plus’ battery was manufactured by Amperex Technology Limited- the same company that made the batteries of Galaxy Note 7.
