Lately Mid-Day posted a piece of article that Irrfan is hosting a party in which every single person from B-Town is invited. As per the English daily, the purpose of the party is promoting his upcoming flick “Qarib Qarib Singlle”. It even went on to the extent of reporting that Salman Khan is invited in the party; however, Shah Rukh Khan can’t come.
It read like:
“Bhai will receive an invitation, but wedded Badshah can’t come.”
The most shocking thing about this news is that Irrfan himself didn’t have any idea about the party that he was allegedly throwing and the daily even printed the guest list. Heights!
Irrfan took to the micro-blogging site and slammed the daily. He tweeted, “Is this journalist’s or film PR’s responsibility 2 check facts ? Do invite me to this single’s party that I am hosting & I am unaware abt !”
