The idea of cutting the genitals of people who cheat or harass women is not new. It has not been implemented in our country but there have been several suggestions from people to implement it on the rapists.
While we are yet to see rapists getting such punishments, an Indian woman has gone ahead and done this with her husband who was allegedly cheating her.
Yes! A Jalandhar based woman named Sukhwant Kaur learnt that her husband named Azad Singh was cheating on her with another woman.
Filled with rage, Sukhwant attacked her sleeping husband and then finally cut down his genitals. Leaving no chance of recovery, she flushed down his genitals in the toilet.
Jalandhar Assistant Commissioner of Police, Satinder Kumar, said-
“The woman first hit her husband with a rod when he was sleeping which left him unconscious. Thereafter, she chopped off his private parts with a knife and then disposed them in a toilet.”
Azad Singh who is a father of two children was immediately rushed to the hospital as he was bleeding badly.
A complaint has been registered against women by the man’s father.
