CSK’s IPL comeback was simply perfect. After a 2-year ban, CSK returned like a boss. They played fabulously and won the IPL title for the third time.
Their team consisted of all 30+ players and people were trolling them for being an “Oldies team”. However, they ignored the comments, moved on and conquered the tournament.
In yesterday’s match against SRH, not only was their bowling attack strong, but they did well with their bats too. SRH had set a score of 178, which was not a very difficult task for them.
However, it was Shane Watson’s batting attack i.e. 117 off 57 deliveries that contributed immensely to the win. Once again, trollers got an answer. Shane Watson is 36 years old & despite being old, he was just unstoppable.
Even Dhoni was super impressed with Watson; rather than impressed, he was SHOCKED. After the win, Dhoni took to Instagram and dedicated a post to Watson.
Here’s what he wrote;
He posed with wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. The happiness and excitement was clearly visible on his face.
The post read, “Thanks everyone for the support and Mumbai for turning yellow.Shane ‘shocking’ Watson played a shocking innings to get us through.end of a good season.Ziva doesn’t care about the trophy, wants to run on the lawn according to her wordings.”
We are super happy that the deserving team won. However, we are going to miss IPL matches a lot now. What about you?
