Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho dropped in theatres on Friday and the film opened with jam-packed theatres. This is the effect of Baahubali star whose charm and style automatically bring the audience to the cinema halls.
While it could not receive huge appreciated and good reviews, the film had a fantastic start in term of Box Office numbers. Made on the whopping budget of about ₹300-350 crores, Saaho was filmed simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Reportedly the film has collected around ₹60-70 crores in all languages on its opening day. Nothing less could be expected from a Prabhas starrer. As per trade gurus, the film’s estimated earning is around ₹ 35 crores in Telugu, ₹ 15 crores in Tamil, ₹ 3-5 crores in Malayalam and ₹ 10 crores in Hindi.
With such a huge amount in its account on the very first day, the film has surpassed the first-day collection of Avengers Endgame (₹53 crore) as well as Thugs of Hindostan (₹52.25 crore).
Saaho opening is third-best of the year and for a dubbed South Indian film it is the second-best after Bahubali – The Conclusion.
