There is no denying the fact that Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol make one of the most loved and most popular on-screen pairs of Bollywood. Considering this, it comes as a strange surprise or rather rude shock to know that they didn’t like each other initially when they started working together. Yes, you read it right! Hard to believe but true!
Some really shocking revelations were made by SRK and Kajol recently in an interview with a leading daily. The King of Romance told that while he was working with Kajol in “Baazigar”, Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood, Aamir Khan asked him about Kajol as he wanted to work with her but SRK messaged him that he should avoid working with her as she is not focused and very bad and he would find it difficult to work with the actress. However, SRK also added that as he saw the rushes in evening, he called Aamir and said that Kajol was just magical on the screen.
Kajol also said that when SRK and other actors came on the sets, they found her talking to the make-up guy and her constant chattering annoyed most of them. She further added that SRK was ill-tempered but she still talked to him and at last when he wasn’t able to take it anymore, he used to ask Kajol to stop talking. Kajol says that she thinks this is how they both became friends and to this, Shah Rukh adds that even today, he has to ask Kajol to shut up.
SRK and Kajol have been a part of many hit movies; for example, “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge”, “Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham…”, “Karan Arjun”, etc. and their fans will love to see them together in more films.
They both worked together last time in Rohit Shetty directed “Dilwale”, however the flick failed to impress audiences. While Kajol’s last movie was “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior” with her husband Ajay Devgn which was a huge hit, SRK was last seen in “Zero” in which he worked with Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. “Zero” was a disaster at the box-office and since then, SRK has not signed any new project.
