The Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has given us many hit and entertaining movies in his illustrious career and “Nayak” is certainly one of the most loved films of all times.
Released in 2001, “Nayak: The Real Hero” was directed by S Shankar and it also starred Rani Mukerji, Amrish Puri, Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever in important roles.
The movie was based on the journey of a journalist who entered politics after an interview of a chief minister changed his life. The journalist exposed the chief minister on the live television and in return, the chief minister challenged the journalist to become a CM for just one day and after that, he was compelled to enter politics.
If you are a fan of this movie, let us tell you that there is good news for you. Yes, you guessed it right! The makers are now planning a sequel to “Nayak”, almost 23 years after the release of the first part. As per the reports, the makers have got the script for the movie which seems to organically fit as a sequel and it will be a vigilante based action film.
Siddharth Anand will be producing the movie and Milan Lutharia has been roped in to direct the film, the makers are thinking of signing an A-lister for the lead role.
