The famous dancer-actress Poonam Pandey who is known for her bold attitude got slammed a lot some months back when she did the drama of her fake de*th.
In February this year, her fans, followers and others were informed about her sudden demise due to cervical cancer which left everyone in a state of shock because Poonam looked completely fine just a couple of days before her de*th. People also questioned the news because sudden de*th doesn’t take place in cases of cervical cancer and if she was at the last stage and was undergoing treatment, then she wouldn’t have looked so fit.
Though many people including Bollywood celebs paid tribute to her yet majority of the online users believed that it was a promotional stunt and she would be back in a couple of days and the same thing happened as well. As a result, Poonam Pandey was trolled a lot and people slammed her for doing drama of her de*th.
Recently, Poonam Pandey was asked by a journalist about her experience of coming back from de*th, she said that she did it for a cause but people are not able to understand the seriousness of the situation. She added that her work is done because now even the women from villages have come to know about cervical cancer but that phase was terrible for her, it was disastrous for her.
Poonam Pandey said, “I did it for a cause. Logon ko abhi tak akal nahi aayi hai. Aur unko yeh bhi samajh nahi aa raha ki aaj ki tareekh main, gaon khede main jo aurte hain na, unko cervical cancer ke baare main pata chal gaya hai. Toh my work is done but it was terrible for me. It was a disaster for me. I was like yaar koi toh samjho, but I don’t know how I have passed that phase.”
