With this latest triumph, both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have now amassed four ICC titles each, securing their places among India’s most decorated cricketers. Virat Kohli’s accolades include the 2011 ODI World Cup, Champions Trophy wins in 2013 and 2025, and the 2024 T20 World Cup, in addition to leading India to victory in the U19 World Cup. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma’s achievements span the 2007 World Cup T20, Champions Trophy wins in 2013 and 2025, and the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Rohit Sharma played a crucial role in India’s latest success, leading from the front with a commanding 76 off 83 balls in the final against New Zealand. His efforts ensured India successfully chased down a target of 252, earning him the Player of the Match award. Reflecting on the journey, he spoke of the team’s consistent performances throughout the tournament and the satisfaction of achieving the desired result.
As his career progresses, Rohit has embraced a more aggressive approach with the bat, often setting the tone for India’s innings.
