Gossip columns speculated that their chemistry extended beyond the screen and even linked her name to Hrithik’s separation from his wife Sussanne Khan. However, neither Barbara Mori nor Hrithik Roshan ever confirmed these claims and the rumours remained unverified.
After her Bollywood experience, Barbara Mori continued to work internationally. She appeared in Cantinflas in 2014, a biographical film about the iconic Mexican comedian, and later starred in Treintona, soltera y fantástica in 2016, which highlighted her comic timing. In her personal life, Barbara Mori has experienced many changes. She was previously in a relationship with Mexican actor Sergio Mayer with whom she has a son, Sergio Mayer Mori.
