Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai make one of the most beautiful and adorable couples of Bollywood. On 20th April, 2007, the couple tied knot and millions of hearts were broken as the former Miss World was finally going to get married.
The couple recently completed 11 years of marriage and the good thing is that they still look a fresh and perfect Jodi. In fact with Aaradhya, they make a cute and loving complete family.
Some people might think that Abhishek married Aishwarya for her gorgeous looks; however, the truth is utterly different and you’ll respect him more than ever after knowing why he chose Aish as his life partner. In his words,
“You don’t go home at night and say ‘We are the IT couple’ or what we are going to do to maintain this. I think people spend too much time bothering about these things. Two of us have always been real about these things. We have no false illusions of grandeur nor we are aspiring to be that.”
Abhishek made it clear that he didn’t marry Aish because she is beautiful. As per him,
“That’s not the basis of my relationship with Aishwarya. It’s not about – you’re hot and let’s get married. It’s not that. I married her for the human being that she is, not because she is the most successful actor we have or she is the international face of the Indian cinema because she is one of the most beautiful women.”
He added,
“No, it’s not. At the end of the day, when you come back home from a hard day at work, you go to bed and you have to face certain realities about how the person is like. These faces that we have come off at night without makeup. I married her for that person.”
A million dollar answer!
We are sure that Aish must be proud to be Abhishek’s wife; after all, who wouldn’t adore such golden thoughts?
