With a ticket price of Rs. 2200, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil beats the price record of Sultan itself, that had its platinum ticket for Rs. 1800
If you’re crying already, wipe your tears because there is a ray of hope as some movie-plexes do have “normal seats” for the young and broke movie buffs, to save the day. PVR at Pacific still has a few economy class tickets for Rs. 425, however all other high class PVRs in Delhi and Gurgaon have a ticket range of Rs. 1000 – Rs. 1600.
Trouble in Karan Johar’s paradise
Karan Johar went through a huge trouble to release this film, especially in the light of the recent Uri attack where our Indian soldiers were mercilessly killed. There was a huge protest from Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) to cut Fawad Khan’s scenes from the film. The filmmaker fought bravely and had all the support from his B-Town besties. Right from Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan to Saif Alia Khan who stood in his support. Well, now that the issue is resolved and the film will be released on Friday, October 28.
