The Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel is in news nowadays as her movie “Gadar 2” will be releasing on 11 August 2023 and recently, the actress who made her dream debut with “Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai” gave an interview in which she talked about her past relationships as well.
Ameesha Patel dated the famous director Vikram Bhatt for around 5 years and in the interview, she accepted that talking about her affair with Vikram publicly had a negative effect on her acting career. Vikram Bhatt dated Ameesha Patel after breaking up with Sushmita Sen and Ameesha said in the interview that honesty is not welcomed in the movie industry and she is a very honest person as she wears her heart on her sleeves.
Ameesha adds that she feels being honest has been the biggest negative of her life and the only two relationships that she had in her life had an adverse effect because of which she kept away from men for more than a decade.
She further adds that the single status of an actress is always more attractive in the industry and for the audiences as well. According to her, being single or dating someone from the movie industry such as a superstar or a hero is beneficial for the career of an actress but dating someone from outside the industry has a negative impact on her career. She said that as far as she was concerned, it was not the case but she did learn many things from it.
In “Gadar 2”, Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol will be reprising their roles of Sakeena and Tara Singh, respectively and apart from the duo, the sequel also stars Utkarsh Sharma, Simrat Kaur and Luv Sinha.
