True, legends like Amitabh Bachchan are also humans and even they can commit mistakes. Just recently his name was taken in Panama papers and if the allegations are proved correct, he will be termed as a defaulter. We are bringing for you 7 biggest mistakes of Amitabh Bachchan’s life:

1. ABCL

Amitabh’s decision of running a production company proved disastrous for him when ABCL went bankrupt and he was chased by the tax authorities for recovery.

2. Ajooba

Working in Ajooba can also be considered as a mistake of his life. Shashi Kapoor started his career as a director from this movie which turned out to be a big flop.

3. Politics

Politics is not for everyone and Amitabh also regretted his decision of entering politics. He won Lok Sabha election from Allahabad in 1984 but after three years, he resigned. In his words, “Venturing into politics was a mistake. I entered the field in the flow of emotions. But then I realised that emotions are very different from reality in the political arena. So I gave up. I have never thought of going back to politics since then.”

4. Boom

Boom is definitely a black spot on the career of Big B. In fact, it was so horrible that the movie was called B-grade and even Amitabh apologized from his fans for doing it.

5. Political Relations

In 1984, Amitabh fought Lok Sabha elections from Allahabad due to his close proximity with former PM late Rajiv Gandhi but when his name was taken in Bofors scandal, he decided to resign and differences cropped up in his friendship with Rajiv Gandhi. Later on, he became good friend with Amar Singh who was from Samajwadi Party but at present, he is not on good terms with him as well.

6. NISHABD!

Working in RGV’s “Nishabd” can be regarded as one of the huge mistakes committed by Big B, as the Indian audience was not matured enough at that time to understand the love relation of a teenage girl and an old man. Moreover, the intimate scenes between Amitabh and Jiah attracted criticism for Senior Bachchan.

7. Dispute with Media

There are many cases in which we have heard that some actor or celebrity had a fight with a media person and the matter gets solved a little later but the dispute between media and Amitabh went so ugly that in 1975, Amitabh tried to close down movie magazine “Stardust” using his proximity with Gandhi family. Stardust along with other magazines made an association which boycotted the legendary actor and didn’t publish anything about him.

In 1989, Big B offered his hand of friendship towards Stardust and other magazines as he needed their help in creating awareness about the Bofors scandal in which his name was also taken and this led to end of 15-yr long dispute.
