A young boy from Darbhanga, Bihar fell down from a tree and fractured his right hand. The doctors put the plaster on the wrong one. This is heights of negligence. Seven-year Faijan later said,” I tried telling them while they were giving me the treatment, but they did not listen to me and put the plaster on the wrong hand.”
Minister Mangal Pandey asked the Superintendent of the medical center to brief him on the subject when the news reached the Health Department. Dr. Raj Ranjan Prasad, superintendent of the medical center said the matter is under investigation and they are trying to fix the issue and he said that strict actions will be taken against the Doctors.
“Health Minister has asked me to investigate the matter and seek clarification from the concerned team regarding this negligence. I condemn this incident and I am trying to fix the issue. People involved in the incident will be punished”
This should not happen, doctors are supposed to be attentive and helpful. More and more cases as such are emerging forward. Strict action should be taken against the accused.
