Bengaluru Man Exposes A Hotel Which Uses A Trick To Show Black Money As White!

Demonetization has affected the entire nation. People are standing in queues for hours to get their old currency exchanged, trying every ATM they possibly can to withdraw money for their day-to-day needs. Families who have weddings are adversely affected by this move. But people are keeping their cool, despite of experiencing a great inconvenience, they’re not complaining. People are supporting the move because in the long run it will prove to be beneficial for the nation.

Long queue at banks

Demonetization is a surgical strike on the black money holders. But despite of the big operation which has amputated the corruption in India, it turns out the dishonest businesses and people have found some creative ways to launder their money.

Midhu Noble took to Facebook claiming that he caught a hotel in Bengaluru which is laundering black money by adjusting its sales books. Hotel Adigas, where Noble had gone to pick up food for his office asked him to pay in cash. But what’s more shocking is that the hotel handed him the bill with past date.

Hotel Adigas printed his bills with correct amount but the dates of the bills were different. The bills were dated as 1st and 13th of January. The hotel uses the trick to hide the account of their black money by showing higher sales figures in previous months

Midhu Noble wrote on his Facebook.

Yesterday I went to #Adigas hotel in church street to order food for my office. To my surprise they refused to accept cards and insisted on paying by cash. After receiving the bill and checking the date on the bill it is given as 01/09/2016. What an intelligent way to adjust your books and convert black money to white by pushing up the sales in previous months and remitting the amount as sales done in previous months. Most of us don’t even read our bills, so next time please ensure you spend a 20 seconds on the bill details and insist on bills after every purchase. It’s a shame such iconic names like Adigas is doing this. Let’s contribute to our PM’s efforts.

At one hand our government is trying their best, making all the efforts they can to eliminate corruption, and on the other hand, such dishonest people and businesses are still figuring out different means to beat the system.
