Are you dismissing those notifications from the lock screen accidently? Well, you might suddenly realize that you have swiped away something which was of great importance. Don’t worry now, as we are here to teach you how to access the notification history in Android’s recent versions.
Step 1
If it is Android Lollipop, the home screen’s blank part can be pressed and held for bringing up the Widgets option.
Step 2
After tapping the Widgets option, opt for ‘Settings shortcut’. This is where the home screens of the phone are and you would be asked as to which screen you wish to link to.
Step 3
From the list, select the ‘Notification’ log.
And here you are! When you tap on this shortcut that is newly created, it would take you to that notification list. The recent ones would be at the top. You can keep this shortcut widget in place in case the alerts are dismissed without being read properly.
