We’ve all been through this whirlwind called ‘love’. Especially if you’re in your 20s, either you’re that lucky 1% that found their perfect match, got hitched and are now that annoying couple who everyone hates and envies at the same time, or you’re the remaining whole lot of regulars- ahem, engineers- who have been wearing those big ‘hit-me’ signs and still being missed by the right cupid.
And now that your “clock is ticking” in that annoying Aunt’s words you’re fed up of, or you’re really, really done with heartbreak and disappointment; the one and unique perk of being Indian comes to our aid like a shining armour. YEP. Giving your mum the unreasonable joy of getting you… a spouse 😉
But what if it’s not all that bad? I mean, lets face it— we’ve had worse nightmares. After all, this person that you’re gonna meet is no different than all those crushes you’ve pined after, and, wait for it—what if finally you hear that guitar playing in your head and the fluttering butterflies in your stomach? What if love comes disguised as a forced coffee-date, approved credentials and okayed by family? Makes life hella easier according to me.
