Ekta Kapoor, daughter of veteran actor Jeetendra and very popular as TV Queen, recently celebrated her birthday on June 7. Ekta looks after the functioning of Balaji Telefilms and her work is not just limited to TV; she has made some movies too which they have been successful on Box Office. Talking about movies produced by Balaji, “The Dirty Picture”, “Ragini MMS”, “Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai”, “Shootout At Lokhandwala”, “Lootera”, “Kyaa Kool Hain Hum” and “Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum” are to name few.

However, she got famous through her serials in the beginning and later she ventured into movies. Some of her famous TV shows are “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”, “Hum Paanch”, “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii”, “Kasautii Zindagii Kay”, “Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii”, “Kaahin Kissii Roz”, “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain”, “Jodhaa Akbar” and many others.

Ekta lives with her parents in “Krishna” bungalow which is also known as “Prem Milan” and it is said that the interior of this house is very beautiful. There is a temple of God Ganesha in the bungalow and on the occasion of Ganesha Chathurthi, many actors and actresses visit her house.
