The 19 years old blogger who is known as Ye Mouyi also disclosed the name of the hotel and hotel room in which she was staying.

She posted,

“Who’s coming to get me…to have sex…for free.”

As per a report by Daily Mail, more than 3,000 people came to Wanda Hilton Hotel in Haitang Bay, Sanya, where she stayed. Not only this, the hotel also received a number of phone calls inquiring about Ye Mouyi. According to a report by ifeng.com, it had a “serious impact on the hotel’s normal operation”.

The post was deleted by her when she saw the response and got afraid but till then the screenshots were taken and circulated. When there was no respite from continuous phone calls and people knocking on her door, Ye informed the reception that she wanted to check out and asked them to escort her to Sanya Phoenix International Airport.

However later on, the blogger was arrested under the charges of “disrupting the order of units and soliciting clients in public places cases of prostitution”.

But can we count it as prostitution as it was for free and nothing was asked in return?

As per a report in ifeng.com, as Ye put this offer on social networking site WeChat, it is considered as an act of prostitution and therefore she was fined 500 yuan (£57).

According to Ye, she was under the impression that people would take it as a joke. Now she is shocked that it has been taken so seriously by many people.

We request everyone not to crack such types of jokes on social media as they can be very risky.
