The former Indian cricketer MS Dhoni is still one of the most popular cricketers of the world despite the fact that he has taken retirement from international cricketer in the year 2020. What has made him more popular among the Indian cricket fans is the fact that he is the only skipper who has won three ICC trophies- ICC T20 World Cup 2007, ICC World Cup 2011 and ICC Champions Trophy 2013.
Dhoni is also the second most successful skipper of the IPL as his team has won the IPL title four times under his leadership. His fans love to call him Thala and recently one was seen sporting Dhoni’s CSK jersey in a football match in the FIFA World Cup.
The photos were clicked in the match which was played between Serbia and Brazil, while in one pic the fan is seen wearing the jersey, in two photos he is seen holding the shirt and showing it from front and the backside and in one photo, the fan is holding the jersey while posing with a Brazilian fan.
The images were posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter by WhistlePodu Army and CSK also reacted on the same by commenting, “Everywhere we go, there’s always Yellove!” with yellow heart emoji.

All the IPL teams are gearing up for the IPL 2023 mini-auction which is going to take place in December. The fans in Chennai are pretty happy as they will see their favourite cricketer Mahi playing on their homeground Chepauk after a gap of two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The IPL 2022 was a poor season for CSK as it came second last in the points table and there were also some controversy related to the captaincy of the team. Just before the start of the tournament, Ravindra Jadeja was appointed as the skipper but after consecutive losses and failure with bat, Jadeja decided to hand over captaincy back to Mahi but till then, it was too late for damage control.
However, what was worse that there were reports of a tiff between Ravindra Jadeja and CSK management and it was also speculated that the Indian all-rounder would quit the team before the IPL 2023. Neverhteless, the good thing for CSK fans is that everything is alright now and Ravindra Jadeja will play for the Chennai franchise only.
Many fans still miss MS Dhoni in the national team especially when India gets knocked out of the multi-nation event just like it happened recently in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 and prior to that in the Asia Cup 2022.
