This Is Current Situation Of Govt Banks In India. Clears The Cheque With Sex Written On It

There is no denying the fact that Indian banks are going through a bad phase as first Vijay Mallya fled from the country after committing a bank fraud of Rs. 9,000 crore and then Nirav Modi did a PNB scam worth Rs. 11,400 crore. There is also news about Rotomac owner Vikram Kothari who has defaulted a bank loan of Rs. 800 crore.

Banks have again become the subject of laughter when a photo of a cheque went viral. As per the pic, the person has drawn cheque on self and he/she has correctly written the amount in figures which is 6,000 but in words, “sex” is written instead of six.

What has further shocked people is that the bank employees didn’t catch the error and cleared the cheque. Whenever, there is a mistake in filling the cheque, the cheque is either rejected or the bank employee circles the error and takes a signature from the person who presents the cheque but nothing of this sort has been done in this case.

This has invited criticism for the bank and people are saying that if they can’t catch such simple mistakes, how can they stop frauds?

Twitter also had fun over the incident and trolled banks in an epic way. Check out few selected tweets:
