The Indian cricketer Shubman Gill who is playing for Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 is certainly the future of Indian cricket and the manner in which he has performed in the IPL 2023 proves that he is a player who can win matches for his team single-handedly.
Shubman Gill’s knock of 104 runs not out against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last match which was played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, played an important role in knocking the Bangalore franchise out of the tournament. This disappointed the RCB fans to such an extent that they started slamming not just Shubman Gill but his sister Shahneel Gill as well.
Shahneel Gill was present in the stadium for cheering her brother and his team Gujarat Titans and after the match, she made a post with the caption, “An incredible day spent with the most gorgeous people”.
Soon haters visited her Instagram account and started abusing her in the comments section.
However, the good thing was that the chief of Delhi Commissioner of Women (DCW), Swati Maliwal not only took note of this incident but she also decided to take an action against those who are abusing Shubman Gill’s sister.
Swati Maliwal took to Twitter and posted, “Extremely shameful to see trollers abusing #ShubhmanGill’s sister just because the team they follow lost a match. Previously we had initiated action against people abusing #ViratKohli daughter. DCW will take action against all those who have abused Gill’s sister as well. This shall not be tolerated!”
