The Indian movie industry has many beautiful and talented actresses and recently Forbes magazine with the help of IMDb compiled a list of the highest paid actresses of 2024 and it was really surprising that there was no south Indian actress in the list of top 10 highest paid actresses of the year.
Deepika Padukone who is going to become a mother soon has emerged as the highest paid actress of the Indian movie industry as she charges between Rs. 15 crores and Rs. 30 crores. Deepika Padukone played the female lead in SRK’s Pathaan and she also played an extended cameo in Jawan and she will be seen next in Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD.
Actress turned politician Kangana Ranaut who won the Mandi Lok Sabha elections this year is at the second spot as the actress takes home between Rs. 15 crores and Rs. 27 crores for one project.
Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra, who is now an international actress, charges Rs. 15 crores to Rs. 25 crores and she is currently at the third spot. The Tiger 3 actress Katrina Kaif is at the fourth spot with the same remuneration and the Gangubai of Bollywood, Alia Bhatt is at the fifth spot as she charges Rs. 10 crores and 20 crores per movie.
The beautiful actress Kareena Kapoor Khan got the sixth position as she is paid between Rs. 8 crores and 18 crores while the Stree actress Shraddha Kapoor charges between Rs. 7 crores and 15 crores for one movie and she is on the seventh position.
The senior actress Vidya Balan is on the eighth position and she charges between Rs. 8 crores and Rs. 14 crores for one project. Anushka Sharma, wife of the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli is on a break from work as she is currently with her husband who is a part of the Indian squad which is playing the T20 World Cup 2024 and before that, she was in London for quite some time where she gave birth to their second kid, a baby boy whom they have named as Akaay.
Anushka is on the ninth spot as she charges between Rs. 8 crores and 12 crores and the former Miss World and one of the most talented actresses of all times, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is at the tenth position with Rs. 10 crores for one project.
