Everyone knows that alcohol consumption is injurious to health and not just this but there are many other reasons as well for avoiding alcohol and 30 years old Amit Prakash who is a resident of Greater Kailash-II, Delhi learned it the hard way.

Many times we have seen people forgetting everything that they have done in the intoxicated state and they are left with no option other than feeling sorry for their acts.

Recently, Amit Prakash had some drinks after work at BYOB, Golf course road, Gurgaon, and he realized that he drank a lot when he read the MRP of an alcoholic drink as Rs. 20K instead of Rs. 2K. The good thing was that the shopkeeper was an honest man and he returned Rs. 18K to Amit Prakash. However, what happened afterwards will leave you in a state of shock.

Amit Prakash was asked by a stranger whether he could join him for the drinks, the former agreed and they both drove to Subhash Nagar from Golf Course but when the stranger asked Amit Prakash to get down from the car, he did that because he forgot it was his own car and not the stranger’s car. From there, Amit took an auto for Huda City Center metro station and then, he took a metro for his home.

Next morning when Amit Prakash woke up and the effect of alcohol got reduced, he realized that he lost his car, smartphone, laptop and Rs. 18K cash. Though he registered a police complaint yet he remembered nothing about the stranger as he was drunk a lot.

A Twitter user shared the screenshot of the news with the caption, “Man gets drunk, befriends a stranger who joins him in his car for drinks. Man forgets he is in his own car, gets out when stranger asks him to, takes a metro home. Stranger drives off with the car. Best story of the day.”
