The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan is currently the talk of the town after hitting double century in the third and final ODI of the 3-match series against Bangladesh. With this double hundred, Ishan Kishan has become the fourth Indian cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Rohit Sharma to score a double ton in ODI. Not just this, he has also broken the record of West Indian cricketer Chris Gayle of scoring the fastest double century as Ishan Kishan touched the 200 mark in just 126 deliveries.
Ishan Kishan was already very popular among cricket fans because of his superb performances in the IPL as well as for team India prior to this match but after this match, his popularity has touched new skies. However, the Jharkhand cricketer faced a dilemma recently when he was asked by one of his fans to give autograph in Ranchi. Though giving autograph to a fan is a very common thing for cricketers and celebs, here it was a little problematic for the young Indian cricketer.
The fan whose name is Randhir Kumar wanted Ishan Kishan’s autograph on the back of his mobile phone but Ishan refused to do so as it was already signed by the former legendary Indian cricketer MS Dhoni. Out of respect for Mahi, Ishan denied signing on the back of the mobile phone and asked Randhir Kumar to get his autograph on some other object but the fan was adamant on getting the autograph on the back of the mobile.
Finally, the fan had it as he wished and Ishan gave his autograph below Dhoni’s signature, the whole incident was recorded by a sports journalist who posted it on his YouTube channel.
Randhir Kumar works at the JSCA stadium and he said that he wanted the autographs of both the cricketers as they both belong to Jharkhand. Randhir says that he knows Ishan Kishan since he started playing Under-16 as he has been working at JSCA for the last 5-6 years and though not personally, he also knows MS Dhoni.
