Bollywood actress Disha Patani is leaving no stone unturned in promoting her upcoming movie “Malang” which is slated to release on 7th February, 2020. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunal Kemmu in lead roles and has been directed by Mohit Suri.
Disha’s Bollywood debut had a cricket connection as her debut movie was MS Dhoni’s biopic and recently, she was at the studio of official broadcaster of India vs. New Zealand bilateral T20I series. She was at the studio along with other actors of the movie for the promotional purposes just before the fifth T20I which was played at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.
When the actress was asked to pick a match winning player, she took Jasprit Bumrah’s name as she feels that he is one of the finest players that India has. She was quite sure that Bumrah will take down the Kiwis on 2nd February in the fifth T20I.
In the first four games, Bumrah was not able to make any impression but in the fifth T20I, he took 3 wickets and conceded only 12 runs in his four overs. Jasprit Bumrah was adjudged as the Player of the Match and he is definitely going to play an important role in India’s campaign of T20I World Cup 2020 which is going to be held in Australia.
The veteran actor Anil Kapoor who is also passionate about cricket was clear about one thing that there is no one else who can compete with Indian skipper Virat Kohli.
The Indian team has whitewashed the 5-match T20I series and has become the first Indian team ever to do so. After getting humiliated in the T20I series, the hosts will be looking to regain some respect in the 3-match ODI series which is going to start from February 5.
