After filmmaker Omung Kumar released the first poster of the biopic, on the life of our Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in January 2019, it created quite a stir. We saw actor Vivek Oberoi under prosthetic, depicting a poised but determined PM Narendra Modi.
Eros Now recently announced a web series on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, titled ‘Modi’, which will release soon, in the month of April, this year. After Omung Kumar’s biopic, which is still under making, filmmakers Ashish Wagh and Umesh Shukla are coming with a promising web series.
Coincidentally, this web series will release during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, that will be held from 11th April to 19th May. This news was even officially confirmed by trade analyst Taran Adarsh, on his official Instagram account.
This Eros Now web series will traverse through PM Modi’s life, in the process chronicling his journey from childhood to youth and will finally conclude with him taking the oath as the Prime Minister of our Country. This will faithfully portray the eventful and inspiring life of one of world’s greatest leader.
We will see actors like Faisal Khan, Ashish Sharma and lastly Mahesh Thakur essaying the role of Narendra Modi at different ages in the web series. This ten episode series, written by writer and censor board member Mihir Bhuta and Radhika Anand, has been shot in various parts of rural Gujarat, Vadnagar and Siddhpur.
