Fatwa Issued Against Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Products

Fatwa Issued Against Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Products - RVCJ Media

As per reports, a “fatwa” is issued against Patanjali products of Baba Ramdev by a Muslim organization for the reason that cow urine is used in making products of Patanjali and utilization of cow urine is ‘haram’ or forbidden in Islam.

According to TNTJ (Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamat), Patanjali products are easily available in markets and online and use cow urine as ‘key ingredient’ in medicines, cosmetics as well as food items.

“According to the beliefs of Muslims, cow’s urine is haram which should not be used. Therefore, TNTJ issues a fatwa that products of Patanjali are haram,” maintains Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamat.

The motive of the fatwa is to make certain that Muslims don’t make use of any such product as many might not know what ingredients have been utilized.

What’s more, there have been some quality issues with Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali products which have compelled users to think seriously for consuming the items.

Twitter has reacted actively in this connection; some are in favor of Patanjali products calling them amazing and high-quality, whereas others are against. And here we present some tweets you should go through under Patanjali hashtag:
