Ameesha stepped into the film industry with “Kaho Naa…Pyaar Hai” opposite Hrithik Roshan. The movie brought a storm at the box-office and swept almost all the awards in every awards function. Her second movie “Gadar: Ek Prem Katha” with Sunny Deol was also a very big hit and she received a Filmfare Special award for it.

After two back-to-back superhits, she became one of the most sought after actresses of that time but then she made some really bad choices regarding projects. Her career seemed to recover with “Humraaz” but she again made some senseless choices.

She was also in controversy because of her cold relations with Kareena Kapoor who was the first choice for “Kaho Na…Pyaar Hai” and then she had an affair with director Vikram Bhatt and because of this, differences cropped up between Ameesha and her family. Later on, she got into a legal battle with her father. She accused him of usurping her hard-earned money and demanded Rs. 12 Crore from him.

After five years, Ameesha and Vikram called it quit and she was seen in films but in supporting roles only. She also started a production company and announced a movie but it has been a long time since then and there is no news of that project getting completed.

Ameesha also made headlines for misbehaving with media which made things worse for her and lately, her manager was seen visiting every producer and director and asking a role for Ameesha, saying that she is even ready to do a role similar to what Aishwarya did in “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”.

Recently, she was also trolled for her hot selfie that she posted on the photo-sharing site Instagram.

It seems quite difficult to see her in lead roles so we feel that she should be happy playing supporting characters, may be something better happens for her. What do you say?
