Jalebi is one of the most loved sweet dishes of Indians and it won’t be wrong to say that it is an essential item in the breakfast menu of many of us on holidays. It is definitely served to guests, especially in the north Indian states and people have it as per their own preferences. While some like to have jalebi as it is, few like to have it with milk or curd but have you ever heard of someone having jalebi with spicy aloo sabji?
Well, it is quite a weird combination because Jalebi is sweet in taste and aloo sabzi is spicy which means they both are completely opposites to each other. However, you will be surprised to know that jalebi with aloo sabzi is pretty famous in Mathura and Vrindavan. A food blogger Palak Kapoor posted a video of the dish on her Instagram account and her reaction has gone viral.
She captioned the video, “Tried the weirdest food combo ever! Apparently, Jalebi with Aloo ki Sabzi is very famous in Mathura, Vrindavan. So I finally tried this combo from Oma Pehalwan, Mathura”

The video has been liked by more than 8K people as of now but many are not able to digest the fact that aloo sabzi can also be eaten with jalebi. Some are saying that people are coming up with just any combination while others call it a food crime. On the other hand, there are also some who have actually tried and liked this combination and they are asking others to first try it and then make any comment on this fusion.

Well, trying new combinations is not that bad especially when we Indians like both the dishes (jalebi & aloo sabzi), the only difference is that we have them separately but there is no harm in trying them together as well. What do you say?
