Numbers of Gold and Satymeva Jayate aren’t that satisfying but they are not bad either. The films released on the eve of Independence day and enjoyed good first day collections.
Numbers started declining from the 2nd day onwards; even on weekend, the business was not that good. While Gold crossed 50 crores in 4 days, Satyameva Jayate was stuck at 46 crores.
Now, the 5th day collections are out and let us see how much the films have earned;

Gold earned 12 crores on the 4th day, and fortunately, it showed a very good growth on Sunday. Yes, on Sunday, the film earned 15.55 crores, which is a pretty decent number. The 5 day total is now 71.30 crores.
Satyameva Jayate collections!

Even Satyameva Jayate showed a slight growth on the 5th day. While it earned 9 crores on Saturday, it managed to garner 10.26 crores on Sunday, not much of a difference though. The total now stands at 56.91 crores.
