All the tech giants like Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Apple are paying a huge bounty to anyone who can report a vulnerability in one of their products. The companies will get to make their products even better and you’ll be taking home a huge amount of money. The prizes can range from a few hundred dollars to tens of thousands.
Now Google has come up with Project Zero Prize contest. Google has set aside a huge sum of $350,000 for the prize money. All you have to do is just hack a Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X.
Only the phone numbers and the associated email addresses will be known to you. You must remotely execute codes on both phones just by opening an email or a text message using the vulnerability. Google expects to discover new bugs from this contest which will help in making the product better than before.
You must read the contest guidelines and try to understand the mechanics of the phone as soon as possible if you plan to participate. Because only the first person who reports a particular bug can use it. This contest will end in six months. You’ll get $200,000 for the first prize, you’ll get $100,000 for second prize, and at least $50,000 for third, which is not bad at all.
This contest is more than just a bug bounty program, Google will also use your reported vulnerabilities to understand how the exploits work, and it will utilize the acquired information to protect its devices from similar vulnerabilities. So maybe your entries can land you a job in Google!
