This Happened When Traffic Constable Stopped The Car Of Narendra Modi

It is very rare that an Indian police officer shows courage to take an action against a minister, however there are exceptions too and one of them was IPS Kiran Bedi. Kiran towed the car of Indira Gandhi, who was the Prime Minister of India at that time, with a crane. After this incident, Kiran Bedi was nicknamed as Crane Bedi.

And today we are going to tell you about one more such traffic constable who stopped the car of PM Narendra Modi and refused to let him go even when he was told that Narendra Modi is in the car.

The incident dates back to the year 1998 when the Prime Minister of India was Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Narendra Modi was the incharge (Prabhari) of BJP.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was going to address a rally in Jagdalpur as a part of their election campaign in Madhya Pradesh and Narendra Modi also attended the rally.

After the rally, Narendra Modi took a plane to Bhopal from Raipur and from Bhopal airport, he got seated in an ambassador car which came from BJP Office.

Suddenly, near the Hamidia hospital, the car was stopped as the caravan of Digvijay Singh, the CM of the state at that time, was scheduled to pass by.

The constable was told that BJP incharge Narendra Modi is seated in the car but still he didn’t let them go. After the caravan passed, Modi came out of the car and appreciated the constable for following his duty properly.

This incident makes us realize that Modi is not like many other leaders who want VIP treatment, no matter whatever the situation is. At the same time, it’s creditable on the part of that constable that he did not ignore his duties and stood still on the orders he received.
