The left-handed Delhi batsman and skipper Nitish Rana got married to his long time girlfriend Saachi Marwah on Monday, 18th February, and a cocktail party was also given earlier in the day. The auspicious event was attended by many of his colleagues, such as Rishabh Pant, Dinesh Karthik, Unmukt Chand and some former cricketers as well.

Unmukt Chand took to Instagram and shared some pics with caption,

“Love to see the boys getting married! #fewmorehourstogo #onemoredown 😝

Congratulations @nitishrana_official @velvet.coke #cocktail #stayblessed”

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) CEO Venky Mysore tweeted a beautiful photo and wrote,

“What a Gr8 looking couple – @NitishRana_27 & Saachi. Our very best wishes to them & lots of love. It was a pleasure to be there with @DineshKarthik, @abhisheknayar1 to wish them on behalf of all @KKRiders”

The official handle of KKR also shared a pic on the micro-blogging site with caption,

“A partnership stitched for life 💍

Let’s shower our messages of love on the lovely couple – @NitishRana_27 & @saachimarwah7 – as they set out to tie the knot later tonight! 👏”

Nitish got engaged to Saachi last year in June; the latter is from Delhi and is an interior architect by profession. The photos of the function were posted on Instagram by the friends of Nitish and the couple looked just beautiful together.

Nitish plays for KKR in the Indian Premier League and last year only, he became the captain of Delhi team after Gautam Gambhir gave up his captaincy.

Nitish may not be enjoying good form at this moment but he has a pretty decent record in the first class cricket as he averages more than 40 in 30 matches in which he has scored 1765 runs including four 100s. He is known for his aggressive batting style and also helps the team as a part-time spinner. Not only this, he has played for Mumbai Indians in the IPL as well and he credits the former Australian Skipper Ricky Ponting for developing him into a big hitter.

We wish the couple luck and a great future together!
