The operation was characterized as “measured and non-escalatory,” reflecting a strategic approach by the Indian military.
The Indian Army’s official statement declared, “Justice is served. Jai Hind,” reaffirming the legitimacy and intent behind the operation. Politicians including Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Bandi Sanjay Kumar also expressed their approval, commending the armed forces for their decisive action in response to the tragic events in Pahalgam.

The military emphasized that the operation was carefully planned to avoid any escalation, explicitly stating that no Pakistani military installations were targeted.
