Ganesh Utsav started yesterday and people have begun celebrating the festival by bringing idols of Lord Ganesha at their homes. Made in different styles, these idols are very beautiful and some of them are really expensive.
The costliest idol of Lord Ganesha is established in the house of a businessman based in Surat. The name of the businessman is Rajesh Bhai Pandav and he deals in diamond business. The cost of Ganesha idol which is worshipped in his house runs in crore as it consists of 27.74 carat diamond and its price may be around Rs. 500 crore.
While the statue situated in Rajesh Bhai’s house is said to be the most expensive idol in whole of India, Rajesh feels that the value of this idol can’t be measured in monetary terms as it is invaluable.
