Few days back, Irrfan Khan tweeted that he has been suffering from a rare disease. That tweet by Irrfan had shaken has to no end.
We all prayed for his speedy recovery and wanted to know what the disease actually is. There were rumors that the actor is suffering from brain cancer.
Finally, he took to Twitter to reveal the disease and once again, we are shocked. Well, Irrfan revealed that he is suffering from Neuro Endocrine Tumor.

The note read,
“Life is under no obligation to give us what we expect.
The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with NeuroEndocrine Tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope.
As for the rumours that were floated NEURO is not always about the brain and googling is the easiest way to do research 😉 To those who waited for my words, I hope to be back with more stories to tell”
What is NeuroEndocrine tumor?
As per WebMD,
“Some NETs can be a form of cancer. NETs grow in cells that make hormones, which help control different actions in your body, like hair growth, behaviour and skin, among other things”
