Police departments are also not behind in this initiative as time and again, we have stumbled upon creative yet humorous ways in which they have attempted to spread awareness about COVID-19.

Recently Nagpur Police took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and shared a pic of Jethalal from the popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah to convey the message as to how important mask is in this time of crisis.

In the photo, Jethalal can be seen wearing a mask and a punchline is written which is pretty similar to the character’s dialogue and speaking style in the serial. It reads, “Mask Pehen Ne Mein Kya Tapleek Hai Aapko (What issue do you have in wearing a mask)?”

First of all, take a look at the meme:

The caption with which the meme has been shared is, “Whether you are going to gokuldham society or gada electronics, please wear a Mask wherever you go.”

Here’s the tweet:

This was indeed a unique way for grabbing the attention of social media users and slamming those who are going out of their homes without wearing a mask.

Nagpur Police is pretty active on Twitter and some time ago, we saw how they tweeted about the importance of social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic by sharing a still from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer “Chennai Express” and before that, they used a scene from Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s “Kabir Singh” in which they talked about staying at home and not going out unnecessarily by means of a meme.

We must say that the meme game of Nagpur Police is on point and people should take this piece of advice quite seriously! What do you say?
