Journo Asked Mayanti About Dinesh’s Performance In Nidahas. Mayanti’s Reply Will Make Indians Happy

The Indian cricketer Dinesh Kathik is all over social media after his swashbuckling performance in the finals of Nidahas Trophy. Dinesh completely turned the tables upside down with this innings as he scored 29 runs in just 8 deliveries including 2 fours and 3 sixes.

When Dinesh came to bat, the situation was tough for India as it needed 34 runs in 2 overs. Dinesh brought a storm on the pitch and broke heart of every Bangladeshi fan when he hit a sixer on the last ball of the 20th over to achieve the target.

Not just common public but celebrities are also going gaga over Dinesh Karthik and one such celeb is Mayanti Langer. Every person who watches IPL will be knowing Mayanti, irrespective of the fact which team he/she supports. Mayanti is an Indian sports journalist who has hosted many cricket and football tournaments. She is married to cricketer Stuart Binny and has also hosted IPL quite a good number of times.

This is what she said when she was asked to comment on Dinesh’s performance in the finals of Nidahas trophy,

“DK has been in some unbelievable form right now. The match changed in a matter of some six to eight deliveries. It took some superhuman stuff. We were really excited to see that.”

When the journalist asked whether she also thought that Dhoni was playing with a mask of Dinesh, she laughed and said,

“Tamil Nadu boy Vijay Shankar was also there facing the heat. But it was nice to see Karthik work it out from the other end.”

Sunil Gavaskar may have aggravated the Bangladeshi fans by doing Naagin dance in the commentary box but Mayanti praises his sense of humour as she says,

“Sunny is quite funny that way. He has a pretty good sense of humour.”

Well, the beautiful woman has a great sense of wit too. What do you say?
