The whole world is fighting against the COVID-19 (coronavirus) and as the virus is contagious, all the mega events where there is a possibility of people gathering in large numbers have been cancelled. The Indian Premier League 2020 is also one such event which was scheduled to start on March 29 but now it has been postponed till April 15.
Many cricketers are using their social media accounts for spreading awareness about coronavirus and recently Shreyas Iyer, the skipper of IPL franchise Delhi Capitals, also shared a couple of photos on his Instagram but for having some fun with his followers.
In the first photo, Shreyas Iyer is seen flexing his arm but in the second image, he disclosed that the arm is not his but of another Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya. The caption that he wrote while sharing the two pics was, “Expectation vs Reality….”.

Indian player KL Rahul also wished to have some fun and at the same time, he also wanted to spread awareness about taking precautions for COVID-19 so he asked both of them to wash their hands.
KL Rahul’s comment read, “Wash your hand boys”.
While all this was happening, Yuzvendra Chahal also jumped into the banter and reacted with, “Ohhhhh jeesssuuuuuuuusssssss”.
Yuzi is pretty much active on the social media networks and he also runs a program Chahal TV in which he talks with his teammates and updates cricket fans about what is happening in the dressing room.
The comment given by KL Rahul should be taken seriously as washing hands regularly is a part of personal hygiene and both the cricketers, Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya should have also avoided coming so close to each other. In this tough time, we need to practice social distancing as coronavirus is contagious in nature.
Due to coronavirus, the whole world has come to a standstill as not only schools and colleges but also gyms, swimming pools, cinema halls, malls, etc. have been shut down and people have been advised to remain indoors. So keep yourself safe and travel only if necessary!
