“Like Father, Like Son,” David Beckham’s Son Romeo Scores A Goal On Free-Kick From Long Range

David Beckham, the former English professional footballer who is touted as one of the greatest mid-fielders of his generation, enjoys a huge fan following across the globe because of his superb talent and skills and now it seems his son Romeo Beckham is on the same path as well.

Recently, Romeo Beckham made headlines for the wonderful free-kick from a long range which he converted into a goal while playing for Miami CF II in a match against Orlando City B. Romeo shot a curler near the goal post which goalkeeper was not able to stop, this was the first ever goal of Romeo Beckham in MLS NEXT Pro and the match was won by Miami CF II by 3-1.

The video clip of this goal was posted by the official Twitter handle of MLS NEXT PRO with the caption, “Romeo Beckham scored his first-ever MLS NEXT Pro goal!”

Twitterati started comparing Romeo Beckham to his father David Beckham and soon the latter also reacted on this as he told his son that he is proud of him because he scored the first goal in Miami shirt. In response, Romeo wrote, “Love you dad that was for you”.
