Malti Chahar’s Cheeky Tweet To Brother Deepak On His Honeymoon Goes Viral

Deepak Chahar, the talented Indian cricketer made headlines during the IPL 2021 not just because of his performances in the matches but also for proposing his girlfriend Jaya Bharadwaj for marriage after the last league match of his team Chennai Super Kings which was played against Punjab Kings.

On June 1, 2022, Deepak Chahar got married to Jaya Bharadwaj in a grand manner in Agra and the reception was given at Delhi’s Kamal Mahal in ITC Maurya Hotel on June 3, 2022. It was quite obvious that many Indian cricketers and former cricketers graced the occasion.

The micro-blogging site Twitter was flooded with congratulatory wishes for the couple too, however there was one tweet which got the most attention and it was made by none other than Deepak’s sister Malti Chahar.

Malti gave a very good advice to her brother but in a cheeky manner as she asked him to take care of his back during honeymoon. She posted a photo of herself with the newlywed couple and wrote, “Ab ladki hui humari….Wish you guys a very happy married life. @deepak_chahar9 please take care of your back during your honeymoon.. We have World Cup ahead  #family #brother #marriage #siblings”

Meanwhile, Deepak Chahar who was bought by CSK in the mega-auctions for Rs. 14 crore missed the whole IPL 2022 because of his back injury. He suffered an injury while playing a T20I match against West Indies after which he went to National Cricket Academy, Bengaluru, for rehabilitation but over there, he suffered a back injury which reduced chances of his participation in the IPL 2022 to nil.

India will play T20I series against South Africa, Ireland, England, West Indies and Australia before the ICC T20I World Cup and it won’t be easy for Deepak Chahar to make a comeback as it will take some more weeks for him to be completely fit and with passing time, the competition will become tougher for him because many new talents have been discovered by the selectors in the IPL 2022.

Whether Deepak Chahar will play the ICC T20 World Cup or not, only time will tell but his sister certainly has a great sense of humour!
