Irrfan Khan is one of the most versatile and talented actors of the Hindi film industry at the present time. He is among the very few actors who have covered the journey from rags to riches and made a place in Bollywood without any Godfather. Needless to say, all the credit for the same goes to his hard-work and dedication. Right? Right!
His acting skills have improved and refined with every movie and people are simply crazy about his work. However, your respect for the “Hindi Medium” actor will increase to a great extent after knowing what he recently did.
Lately Mid-Day posted a piece of article that Irrfan is hosting a party in which every single person from B-Town is invited. As per the English daily, the purpose of the party is promoting his upcoming flick “Qarib Qarib Singlle”. It even went on to the extent of reporting that Salman Khan is invited in the party; however, Shah Rukh Khan can’t come.
It read like:
“Bhai will receive an invitation, but wedded Badshah can’t come.”
The most shocking thing about this news is that Irrfan himself didn’t have any idea about the party that he was allegedly throwing and the daily even printed the guest list. Heights!
Irrfan took to the micro-blogging site and slammed the daily. He tweeted, “Is this journalist’s or film PR’s responsibility 2 check facts ? Do invite me to this single’s party that I am hosting & I am unaware abt !”

There’s a point:
It only proves how paid or fake content passes off as film journalism. Though it's also a novel way of promoting films many a times.

Sad it is:
Journalists in our country have left fact-checking to readers.
