Mithali Raj Became Player Of The Match But Got Peanuts. People Are Slamming ICC

We have heard a lot about the need and importance of gender equality in the discussions conducted on news channels or the events organised to find out the solution of gender inequality.

But is really something concrete happening in the direction of bringing gender equality in the society or are these discussions just wastage of time, money and other resources?

Cricket can easily be called the most loved sport in India and some Indian men cricketers are listed among the top 100 richest sportspersons of the world. But why can’t we find any Indian woman cricketer in this list? The reason is pretty simple – the organization which should have been on forefront for keeping both the cricket teams (men and women) on the same level is encouraging gender inequality to a big extent.
