MS Dhoni has a huge fan base in Tamil Nadu as he has been associated with Chennai Super Kings since the first season of the IPL which took place in 2008 and under his leadership, CSK lifted 5 IPL trophies. MS Dhoni was the skipper of CSK till last year but just before the beginning of the IPL 2024, he handed over the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad which is an indication that we may not see him play in the IPL from the next year.

Fans love MS Dhoni to the core and seeing him on the cricket field is an experience which they will love to cherish for whole life.

Recently, CSK clashed against Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday, the match was played at Chepauk stadium, Chennai and CSK won it by 7 wickets.

In this match, a fan came with his family and while talking to a local sports channel, the person talked about his experience and he revealed how much MS Dhoni matters to him and his family. He said that he wasn’t able to get the tickets so he bought them in black and for this, he had to spend a huge amount of Rs. 64K. His three daughters were also happy after this great experience but one thing didn’t go well with many online fans as he also said that he is yet to pay the school fees of his daughters.

An X user shared the video with the caption, “I don’t have money to pay the School Fees of my children, but spent Rs 64,000 to get black tickets to watch Dhoni, says this father. I am at a loss for words to describe this stupidity.”

Soon people started reacting to it, while some slammed him, few defended him by saying that he hasn’t said he doesn’t have money, it’s just he has not paid the fees but he would do it later. However, the genuine concern which was raised by few users was how tickets are getting sold for black and that too at such high prices because spending Rs. 64K for a cricket match is simply not justified.
