In order to explore the planet in a better manner, NASA is sending a rover on Mars which will be launched between July 17 and August 5, 2020, and most probably, it will reach Mars by Feb 21. The space agency took to Twitter and invited online users to register their names which will be written and decorated on the chips that will be sent with the rover.

Here is what the tweet of NASA read,

“When our #Mars2020 rover lands on the Red Planet in 2021, it will carry a microchip etched with the names of millions of people from planet Earth. Is yours on it?

There are 20 days left to get your boarding pass and fly your name on our rover. Book now: https://go.nasa.gov/2Lq3vyE”

An image of a boarding pass is also tweeted by NASA and it has given 20 days to people to register their names on the link which has been provided in the tweet.

While the last date is September 30, the registration is also subject to review which means that NASA will have the full power to cancel or accept your name.

Since this tweet has been posted by NASA, many people have taken to Twitter to get their names registered and some have also express their happiness over the fact that their names will go to Mars.
