Multiple gunmen entered the mosques and started firing and one of them was also live streaming it on the social media site Facebook. He was using a GoPro device for this purpose and a 17-minute video was uploaded on YouTube as well.

While live streaming the incident, the gunmen also asked viewers to subscribe the YouTube channel of Pewdiepie.

Just to inform, it is a YouTube account of a Swedish YouTuber whose original name is Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellber and he is presently competing with the Indian music company T-series for becoming the most subscribed YouTube channel. Pewdiepie has also been a part of few controversies and has been slammed too for making racist comments and anti-semantic jokes.

He seems to be very upset and uneasy with the fact that his name has been taken by one of the gunmen. He took to Twitter to express his unhappiness, he tweeted:

“Just heard news of the devastating reports from New Zealand Christchurch.

I feel absolutely sickened having my name uttered by this person.

My heart and thoughts go out to the victims, families and everyone affected by this tragedy.”
