Wearing masks has also led to emergence of a new market in which not only simple but designer masks are also available for sale. Even the bride and groom who are getting married now are seen wearing masks matching with their traditional attires. How important wearing mask is can be understood by the fact that governments of various countries have made it a punishable offence if someone doesn’t wear a mask in a public place.
At the same time, it is also needed that a person wears a proper mask and wears it in a right manner. But you will be surprised to know that a person from Pimpri-Chinchwad has taken stupidity to a new level.
The name of the person is Shankar Kurade and to your utter amazement, he has spent a huge amount of Rs 2.89 lakhs on his mask which is made of gold. He states that the mask has small holes which will help in breathing but he is also unsure of the fact whether his mask will be effective against coronavirus or not.

Shankar Kurade is not just wearing a gold mask but is also seen flashing a lot of gold jewelry such a necklace, rings, bracelet, etc. and the man seems to be obsessed with gold.
Twitterati was not quite happy with the person’s approach as he wasted such a huge amount which he could have used in helping the needy people amidst the COVID-19 outbreak.
